If you encounter this error it means your connection files are out of sync with the remote server.

Grasp CLOUD - Invalid Connection File Error


To fix this, do the following:


  1. Access your search panel inside your taskbar, and search for "remoteapp" (without the quotes):
  2. Open RemoteApp and Desktop Connections. Under "Most recent update:" it may say "Update failed", let's fix that. Click View details:
  3. Click on Update Now
  4. Enter your CLOUD username & password, and click OK (if prompted):
  5. Once finished you will see a page that says "You have successfully updated the connection". Click Finish.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click on View resources:
  8. Select your new program shortcuts, and right-click and choose copy.
  9. Navigate to User's Desktop folder [%userprofile%\desktop]
  10. Click Paste to overwrite your old desktop shortcuts. If prompted with "are you sure you want to overwrite?" click yes.
