The Dell™ Docking Station – USB 3.0 connects your laptop to up to three additional monitors, various external devices and the Internet with a single cable. The dock provides USB charging to peripherals but does not charge your laptop.
Installing Drivers
- Browse to Dell USB Dock D3100 page.
- Click Download next to DisplayLink Dock Driver.
- Save the DisplayLink driver installation file to your computer.
- Using File Explorer (also known as Windows Explorer), browse to the location where the downloaded file was saved.
- Double-click the .exe driver installation files that you downloaded and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
- Restart the computer.
- Connect all the devices such as monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the docking station.
- Connect the docking station to your computer.
