The Dell™ Docking Station – USB 3.0 connects your laptop to up to three additional monitors, various external devices and the Internet with a single cable. The dock provides USB charging to peripherals but does not charge your laptop.


Installing Drivers

  1. Browse to Dell USB Dock D3100 page.
  2. Click Download next to DisplayLink Dock Driver.
  3. Save the DisplayLink driver installation file to your computer.
  4. Using File Explorer (also known as Windows Explorer), browse to the location where the downloaded file was saved.
  5. Double-click the .exe driver installation files that you downloaded and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. Connect all the devices such as monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the docking station.
  8. Connect the docking station to your computer.
