Connecting AC power adapterIf your network does not provide POE (Power over Ethernet), you will require an external AC power adapter. This will connect into the 48V port on the back of the phone and into a power source. | VVX Non-PoE |
Connecting the phone to the networkConnect an Ethernet cable from the port with the Ethernet symbol on the back of the phone. Connect the other end of this Ethernet cable to your network switch or Ethernet wall jack. Note: If you are working from home (remotely) this cable will need to connect your phone directly to your home router. | VVX Network Uplink |
(Optional) Connecting reception side-car- Plug one end of the short cord supplied with the expansion module into the Aux port on the phone.
- Plug the other end of the short cord supplied with the expansion module into the Aux 1 port on the expansion module.
- Insert the small metal bracket into the channels on the back of the phone. Note: the bracket only properly fits one way, if the holes don’t align, flip the bracket around.
- Secure the metal bracket with the thumbscrews.
